1 Study trip to the Netherlands with Florida Government officials
The November water study trip to the Netherlands with representatives of the State of Florida and South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) was a success. In less than a week the participants met with numerous Dutch water experts and got a good impression of the Dutch knowledge and expertise. They learned about innovative projects like smart sensors in dikes and the 3Di Water Management Program, a fast 3D computation model that can be used to show stakeholders the impacts of disasters and floods , and also of possible measures.
2 ORLANDO, FL 2012
(12 November, 2012 Orlando, FL.)- This week will be a memorable week for the Netherlands in Orlando. Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Southeast USA, Simone Filippini, will be visiting Orlando for a busy week of meetings with among others local authorities to share vision, exchange knowledge and build new economic ties, as well as attending a unique trade show and celebrating the ties with the United States with Dutch American Heritage Day.

Lauderdale, September 6, 2012) — The Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Miami takes great pleasure in announcing that one of the world’s most renowned scholars in the field of the CoBrA movement, Dr. Willemijn Stokvis is visiting the United States on a study trip exploring CoBrA exhibitions on the East Coast of the United States. She will have visited New York, prior to travelling to Fort Lauderdale.
