(Washington, D.C.) — The economic ties between the Netherlands and the US keep growing stronger, a new digital report by the Royal Netherlands Embassy shows.
Food is a major industry in the Netherlands, which is the world’s second largest agricultural exporter behind only the United States. Food accounts for more than 21 percent of Holland’s exports and 10 percent of the nation’s gross domestic product.

July 28, 2014 Prime Minister Mark Rutte gave a press conference Sunday evening on the Ukraine air disaster following an extra cabinet meeting in the Catshuis. "Over the past few days, we have thoroughly examined all options for bringing the victims’ remains back to the Netherlands from the crash site as quickly and safely as possible. We have come to the conclusion that gaining the military upper hand by means of an international mission in this region is unrealistic."
July 25, 2014 The Consulate General of Miami will be available in Houston from October 6th until October 9th 2014 to accommodate Dutch citizens with the application of their biometric passport.
